Your choices:
1 Fuel: liquid;   2 Residual oil/fats;   3 Process heat

What is your resource? What do you want to deliver? What is the service the customer wants?
Biomass (digestible sludge) District cooling Comfortable indoor climate
Biomass (fermentable sludge) District heating Electricity
Biomass (solid) Electricity Process cooling (< 0 °C)
Geothermal Fuel: Gaseous 3 Process heat/steam (50 - 150 °C)
Sunshine 1 Fuel: Liquid 3 Process heat (150 - 1000 °C)
Water Fuel: Solid 3 Process heat (> 1000 °C)
Wind Local cooling (ind. house) Transport
2 Residual oils/fats etc Local heating (ind. house)

FAME can replace light fuel oil in any process. However, FAME tends to contain a little bit more water and also tends to contain more of corrosive components than fossil fuel oil, so some of the materials used in the oil feeding systems may have to be replaced to guarantee problem-free operation.
